Hosted by Rise 4 Impact (R4I) • Gospel Lighthouse Church • Northwest Chapel

Each December, Rise 4 Impact (R4I) leads a powerful community outreach in partnership with Gospel Lighthouse Church and Northwest Chapel to bless children of incarcerated parents in the 43206 area of Columbus, Ohio. Our annual Angel Tree Christmas Outreach is designed to bring hope, dignity, and joy to families during a season that can be emotionally challenging.

The event transforms the campus into a warm, interactive Christmas experience filled with meaningful activities:

• Craft Room – A festive space where children created Christmas crafts and enjoyed hands on holiday activities.
• Letter Writing Room – A quiet, heartfelt room where children wrote personal letters to their incarcerated parents, helping maintain emotional connection and giving them a safe place to express themselves.
• Storytelling Room – Volunteers shared uplifting Christmas stories that encouraged imagination, comfort, and joy.
• Christmas Cookie Bakery – The kitchen became a holiday bakery where families decorated fresh Christmas cookies together, filling the building with warmth and laughter.
• Gift Room for Unlisted Children – A specially prepared room ensured that children not originally on the Angel Tree list still received donated gifts, making sure no child left without a present.

All families enjoyed food, drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere, created by volunteers from R4I, GLHC, and Northwest Chapel. The Angel Tree outreach continues to reflect the mission of Rise 4 Impact — standing with children and families, restoring hope, and demonstrating Christ centered love through meaningful community engagement.
